Douglas was born December 12, 1953 in Muskegon, to Louis M. and Betty (Young) Sorensen. He was a life long resident and leaves behind his mother, Betty; a brother, Mark Sorensen of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Pamela (Walter) Clark, Diana (Stan) Strach, and Karen (Jerry) Keith, all of Muskegon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis, in 2006; 3 infant brothers; and his brother David in 1975. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Northside Bible Church ( 1937 N. Whitehall Rd) with Rev. Lowell Wood officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service, (10-11AM) Interment in Restlawn Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Michigan Parkinson Foundation or the Autism Society of Michigan.
