Jonelle was born in Saginaw on August 14, 1982 to John and Christine (Owens) Serra. She was a 2001 graduate of Fruitport High School and was a former member of Spring Lake Wesleyan Church. Shortly after graduation, Jonelle moved to Lansing and was a member of Mount Hope Church in Lansing. Jonelle loved children and worked in day care and taught Sunday School. She married Michael D. Richmond on August 26, 2005 and he survives along with her: parents, John & Christine Serra of Fruitport; two sisters, Lisa (James) Goll of Nunica and Nicole (Bud) Hepworth of Muskegon; grandparents, Mitchell Seeling of Venus, FL, Joan Seeling of Venus, FL and Jean Owens of Muskegon; in-laws, Lannie and Lori Richmond of Charlotte, MI and many loving aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 3, 2010.
