Ms. Pauline Ruth Coley, age 58, passed away Thursday evening at a Muskegon hospital following a long illness. Pauline was born in Muskegon on September 11, 1951 the 7th of 13 children to Darrell E. and Lucille M. (Chingman) Carney. Pauline is survived by her loving family: two daughters, Eva (Jeff) Stevens and Robin (Mike Denhof) Wydeck both of Muskegon; six granddaughters, April (Brandon), Christine (Jay), Meranda, Mercedes, Mariah and Chasity; two great-granddaughters, Meya and Alissa and great-grandson, Jaydo; three brothers, John (Pat) Carney, Darrell (Pat) Carney and Jim Carney and 4 sisters, Pat Williams, Darlene (Bruce) Boley, Eva Giles, Dora (Andy Kasack) Carney and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Pauline’s life and Native American Heritage will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 4, 2010 led by Deb Gutowski from Native American Ministries.
